NTS celebrate the returning two thalassemic patients after BMT in Italy

In the presence of Ninavah health office representative Dr.Motaz ,Dr Abdull Ridaa al Qazaz the manager of Ibn atheer hospital and the staff of Ninavah Thalassemia centre the NTS celebrated the returning of Zakaria and Rami Kamal whom had been in the group which have been sent to the BMT centres in Italy within the treatment program presented by the Italian government which started in the 2005.
Zakaria Abdul Kareem 13 years old was treated at BMT center in Milano city /Italy when tissue examinations proved that he 100 percent compatible with his brother and BMT operation from him is possible to be done .His father said that he received super care at the mentioned center because his son was suffering from side effects that made the duration of his treatment longer than those who have no side effects .
Rami Kamal 25 years old made his BMT operation at Sansilvatory hospital in the Italian capital Rome ,his brother Rowad was the donor for him .
Finally the parents of Zakaria and Rami presented their thanks and appreciations to all authorities that participated in facilitating all related matters of this operation starting from the preparing of the medical reports and sending it to Italy by the NTS ,and the coodinating office in the ministry of higher education and scientific research of the Iraqi government represented by Dr Mohammed Mubarak,Dr Saada and Dr Mekdad al Juwari ending at IME institute for blood diseases in Italy which was responsible for doing the BMT and residence .
On this occasion the NTS presented some gifts to Zakaria and Rami and hoped them to lead happy life out of Thalassemia suffering and for all our patients to have the same chance of recovery .
